Like a rainbow emerging after a storm, South Bay Pride is returning this Saturday, Aug. 21 following its cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers say they are returning stronger and bigger than ever.

Whether it's a community discussion about trans people of color at The Center or joining in on a Trans Beach Party potluck at Fiesta Island, the community is raising its voices and glasses to celebrate the T in LGBT.
The couples will win wedding ceremonies and mini-receptions, to be held at this year’s South Bay Pride. A wedding officiant will perform the ceremony at Bayfront Park in Chula Vista on Sept. 14, followed by a reception for up to 26 guests each.
