Everyone knows the desert in Palm Springs heats up every year at the White Party. This year is actually a milestone event as the White Party celebrates 30 years of dance and LGBT Pride. 

The festival's foundation is built on music and this year the DJs are some of the most beautiful, most talented ones to take the decks.

It's the perfect night to let your light shine at the home of SDPIX publisher Johnathan Hale for the Glow Pool Party on Saturday, May 18 featuring music from the incomparable 

Whether you're celebrating the holiday or the Padres, the lineup of fun to be had in San Diego this week is out of this world. There's Easter brunch with the girls at Lips and the annual OUT at the Park event at Petco Park. Also, Techniche and Overdrive combine into one party for an unforgettable night.

This weekend Hillcrest is transforming into a buffet of neighborhood flavors. Ticketholders for Taste of Hillcrest on Saturday, April 13, will enjoy the great San Diego weather and go on a self-guided tour of the community, meeting business owners, fellow San Diegans and sampling some of the best food the city has to offer. 

Hillcrest is complete once again as repairs have been made to the Pride flag after it was vandalized two months ago. Plus trans lives are celebrated this week and Euphoria returns to Rich's. The week started out with a scary situation at a Palm Springs LGBT bar.

Nationally, headlines blew up after actor Jussie Smollett was cleared of all charges in his fraud case. Then in entertainment news, we spoke with up-and-coming country star Cameron Hawthorn and celebrated wrinkled trans flags everywhere.

We are getting closer and closer to summer and that means the White Party in Palm Springs is almost upon us. This week SDPIX and Rich's is preparing you for this spectacular event and giving you the chance to win tickets in the process.
