While we typically do a public town hall to report back to the community, nothing about 2020 was typical. However, we still wanted to report back to you - our community and donors - with some highlights on what we have been able to accomplish together this year.

San Diego's LGBTQ community is experiencing an increase in targeted hate crimes, and yet many in the LGBTQ community don't report these crimes due to negative experiences with law enforcement or challenges with the reporting system.

San Diego Pride is known as one of the most philanthropic Pride organizations in the world. To date, the organization says they have distributed over 3 million dollars to dozens of organizations through its Community Grant program.

San Diego Pride announces 2021 theme

While it is unclear at this point whether San Diego Pride's 2021 signature events will be held in-person, virtually, or as a hybrid of the two, the organization is moving forward with its planning and programming regardless of the scenario. As planning moves forward, Pride leaders today announced that this year's theme will be "Resilient."
