The Golden West is the theme of San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus (SDGMC) performance titled California Dreamin’ which crusies into The Balboa Theatre on April 23 and 24.
Songs in the key of the California coast will be showcased in this special concert created by Artistic Director RC Haus.
This year's auction include 12 men who are either members or supporters of SDGMC. The highest bidder of each bachelor will be invited on a date at Wang's North Park, Uptown Tavern or Kous Kous Moroccan Bistro immediately after the auction.
The grant will help SDGMC produce its 30th Anniversary Year kickoff show Greatest Hits—Volume One on April 18 and 19 at the Balboa Theatre. Special funding will go directly toward the launching of the SD Youth Pride Chorus, SDGMC’s new group for singers ages 13 to 22. This all-inclusive and affirming group will premiere at the spring show.
SDGMC and Wang’s are recreating that "old Hollywood" magic like being back at Grauman’s Chinese Theater, an event full of red carpet photos and contests.
The San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus is looking to grow its leadership team and has invited community members to apply to serve on the organization's board of directors.
SDGMC’s Chamber Chorale will present its premier concert, "Crescendo," on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7 pm at The North Chapel located within San Diego’s Liberty Station.
