Kurt Cunningham Counseling Services Fund established at The Center

In accordance with his wishes and in memory of Kurt Cunningham and his passion for ensuring that all community members, regardless of ability to pay, have access to counseling services, the Kurt Cunningham Counseling Services Fund has been established.

Online voting now open for the 40th annual Nicky Awards

The Nicky Awards were established in 1974 by longtime gay activist and current City Commissioner Nicole Ramirez to raise funds for community causes. The first Nicky Awards were a benefit for the Gay Center and the Metropolitan Community Church.

Mr., Ms., Miss Gay Pride San Diego 2015 titleholders crowned

Sixteen community members competed in the 3 categories, answering the question: "What does Pride mean to you?" Contestants also wore attire that represented their "pride" and were asked to explain their outfit to the judges.

Stonewall Citizens' Patrol to celebrate 8 years tonight

The Stonewall Citizens' Patrol will host "Keep Our Wheels Turning" this evening from 6-9 pm to celebration the organization's 8 years of service to the community. The event will be held at Gossip Grill.

The Center to name Latin@ Services space for Nicole Murray-Ramirez

The San Diego LGBT Community Center will name its Latin@ Services space for longtime gay and Latino activist, Nicole Murray-Ramirez. The naming will take place as part to the 10th anniversary commemoration of Latino@ Services at The Center.
