What the hell do I know from prejudice, right? There’s racism, homophobia, misogyny, classism, ageism, a vast spectrum of “otherisms”— the dark side of the rainbow — all of them designating certain groups of people as “other.”
Matt Weaver, editor of "The Koala" who has attacked just about every group that isn't white, male and straight like him, is trying to hide who he is as he runs for president of the student government at Cal State San Marcos. But Kit-Bacon Gressitt exposes the truth.
But apparently she does believe that platitudes and impotent resources restricted by tushy-covering legal counsel are an adequate response to the bigotry, homophobia, misogyny, obscenity and glorification of violence spread across the CSUSM campus via The Koala.
Equality, equality is a toughy. Which brings me back to the question of what it means to be a feminist today, and I am certain that the first part of the complex answer is to be mad. I’ll let you know when I figure out the rest.
