After the Tennessee state legislature recently introduced a bill to erect of statue of the state's most famous resident Dolly Parton, the legendary musician said "no thank you."

The success of Netflix’s program department may be a harbinger of Dolly Parton’s new anthology series coming to the streaming service.

Dolly Parton is coming to San Diego on Sept. 27.  at The Valley View Casino Center, but she recently made a pit stop to perform with the a cappella group Pentatonix (PTX).

In the video, Dolly sings about that husband stealing woman with flaming locks of auburn hair “Jolene” while PTX provide the music with their signature brand of vocal accompaniment.

Dolly Parton is not only a country music icon and Hollywood actress, she is revered within the LGBT community as an ally and friend.

The superstar is currently touring for her new album Pure and Simple; she will make a stop in San Diego on Tuesday September 27, at the Valley View Casino Center.
