Coronado City Council candidate Ron Hauser loves his community and doesn’t want anything jeopardizing the public landscape, primarily the immigration of homeless people.
Hauser is referring to a proposal to construct a pedestrian and bicycle tube underneath the Coronado bridge which would connect the island with downtown.
The club, with the theme “pedal, network, prosper,” will have its kick off event on Saturday, Jan. 31. The first ride will start at Coronado’s Ferry Landing and follow the mostly flat bike path along the Strand.
As two gay men, we are used to this kind of bigotry and hatred, but our guests for the events over the weekend — which by the way, included a U. S. Congresswoman — were horrified by this shameful behavior.
Volunteers will work with the Surfrider Foundation to help pick-up litter along the beach during the busy summer season. Volunteers are needed for just two hours of work.
