In an effort to continue supporting businesses as they recover from the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the San Diego City Council has unanimously approved an extension of interim urgency ordinances to allow the City’s Temporary Outdoor Business Operation (TOBO) permit program to continue.

On Tuesday, Mayor Todd Gloria launched a major expansion of the “SD Access 4 All” program with free Wi-Fi at over 300 new locations. According to Mayor Gloria's office, this expansion follows through on his promise to take action to close the digital divide that leaves 53,000 San Diego households with no internet access.

The City of San Diego Public Library has a full schedule of events this February to celebrate the rich and diverse history of Black Americans. The library’s Black History Month programming includes storytimes for children, book discussions, author talks and take-home craft kits.
