Brave Space at The Center provides a (virtual) space for LGBTQ+ Black community to connect

Brave Space is a recent addition to the San Diego LGBT Community Center's peer-led discussion groups, and is open to LGBTQ+ members of the Black and African diaspora community.

The group provides a space for community members to come together to bond, share, and connect in community while discussing topics like anti-Black racism, expressing pain, and creating support and healing.

County of San Diego to offer free COVID-19 testing at The Center

County of San Diego to offer free COVID-19 testing at The Center

The San Diego LGBT Community Center in Hillcrest will serve as a County of San Diego coronavirus testing site. Testing will be available at this site Monday, June 1 and Monday, June 8 from 9 am to 3 pm.

The testing site will not accept walk-up visits, and appointments are required. Those interested in getting at this site should call 2-1-1 to make an appointment.
