Everyone who loves Hillcrest is welcome to participate by cleaning up litter on their block or any part of Hillcrest at any time throughout the day.

Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage, a popular restaurant and bar known for its nightly live entertainment, announced today that it would not be re-opening. The venue closed in March when bars and restaurants were forced to shutdown indoor service due to to the COVID-19 pandemic, briefly re-opened in June when restrictions were loosened, and closed again in July.

The City of Escondido proclaimed June 2020 to be Pride Month in the inland North County city on June 3. The proclamation, which was presented to the North County LGBTQ Resource Center, was a first for Escondido.
