If Rick Perry wants to use his campaign cash to bash patriotic and hard-working American servicemembers and veterans who happen to be gay or lesbian, he should at least have the intestinal fortitude to meet with us in person and do it to our faces.
"It is rather shocking that we continue to see isolated incidents of servicemembers trying to force the Pentagon to let them out of their service obligations because the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' law still technically remains on the books."
"As predicted, the Senate Armed Services Committee has remained focused on serious military issues and has refused to waste time and taxpayer money trying to delay or stop the repeal of the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' law."
"Despite having served honorably in Iraq, Congressman Hunter is clearly out of touch with the rank and file of the modern military on this issue, and he is even further out of touch with the American people."
