AIDS/LifeCycle breaks new fundraising record.

This past Sunday over 2,000 bicyclists started peddling on their 545-mile journey from Daly City, California, to Los Angeles for AIDS/LifeCycle, an annual fundraiser that helps HIV/AIDS programs in Los Angeles.

Nurse makes a 'Sound of Music' for AIDS/Lifecycle

A San Francisco activist is channeling his best Julie Andrews to raise money for his participation in the annual bicycling fundraiser AIDS/Lifecycle.

Otis Morgan,42, is a nurse who will make the over 500-mile bike ride from the Bay area to Los Angeles starting on June 3.

Starting on June 5, Sean Suydam has a tough road ahead of him, literally. He and his bike named "Walt" will travel for seven days and 546 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles as a participant in the Annual AIDS/LifeCycle event. 

This demanding physical charity is something he enjoys doing, but his happiness doesn’t just come from raising money.

San Diego City Council declares AIDS/LifeCycle Day

In recognition of last month's AIDS/LifeCycle bike ride, the city council declared Tuesday, July 16, 2013 to be San Diego AIDS/LifeCycle Day in the city. A delegation of 98 riders from San Diego participated in this year's ride, which was held June 2-8.
