Great news! We have been informed that the U.S. Postal Dept. and the National Stamp Commission will consider issuing stamps in honor of LGBTQ heros Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, and Jose Julio Sarria!

With Christmas behind us, it's time to recycle those Christmas trees! The City of San Diego has 17 tree recycling drop-off locations available for city residents.

The San Diego LGBT Community Center's Come Home for the Holidays has been a longtime holiday tradition where community members typically gather at the The Center for an evening of food, cheer, and fun.

The San Diego Equality Business Association (SDEBA) 2020 Business Awards is a free virtual event to honor outstanding contributions from both SDEBA and non-SDEBA Member Businesses, taking place Thursday, Dec. 10 at 6 pm.  

In 1970, the first Women’s Studies program in the nation was founded at San Diego State University. In honor of the department's 50th anniversary, the community is invited to a virtual celebration on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 pm.

The City of San Diego's Council Communications Office has created a new video series called "Council Conversations" where Council Communications Director David Rolland sits down with City Councilmembers to discuss a variety of topics.

Equality Forum is seeking nominations for its 2021 class of LGBT History Month icons. To date, the organizaztion has named 465 icons since the program's inception in 2006.

On Oct. 15th The Center hosted Let’s Talk: Conversations with The Center and our Black LGBTQ Community. To keep the conversation going and continue engagement, The Center will host “Let’s Talk Tuesdays” every Tuesday during the month of November.
