The Center’s Signature Events have looked very different over the past year during the pandemic; some were cancelled altogether, and others have been reimagined to be safe for the community, while also raising critical funds for The Center.

Join Equality California and special guests for an evening of online conversation and entertainment as we raise critical funds to support the organization's work to ensure LGBTQ+ Californians have access to the resources they need to navigate the COVID-19 public health crisis and land on their feet. 

We all appreciate the power of human connection in a deeper way, having all experienced more isolation since COVID-19. At the start of the pandemic, The Center knew how important connection was for our LGBTQ community and that we would be disproportionately affected by this terrible virus. We also knew that, as we have done for 50 years, that we had to help!

ArtPower and UC San Diego’s Associated Students Office of Concerts & Events (ASCE) will present three-time Emmy Winner, television host, actor, and author, Karamo Brown.

The North County LGBTQ Resource Center, in collaboration with Project TRANS at the Center, Hillcrest Youth Center, the Gender Advocacy Project, Project Youth, TransFamily Support Services, Our Safe Place, San Diego Public Library, and Trans Connections, will celebrate the 11th annual Trans Day of Visibility on Sunday, March 28 from 1-2:30 pm.

Join our partners at San Diego Pride as we all virtually celebrate Transgender Day of Empowerment on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 6pm-7pm! On this special evening, enjoy speeches, live performances, community awards, and more!
