The inaugural Festival of Trees will kick-off the holiday season in Hillcrest this year, benefiting Being Alive.
A new Christmas-time charity event is coming to Hillcrest, and community members are being asked to mark their calendars to plan on attending. The inaugural Festival of Trees will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 3-7 pm at insideOUT.
Benefitting Being Alive San Diego HIV/AIDS Services, the Festival of Trees will feature expertly decorated and designed artificial holiday trees available for raffle and live auction, that will then be delivered to homes of winners within San Diego County. Bobby Gordon, the event's lead organizer, previously held this event successfuly when he lived in Arizona and is excited to bring it to San Diego.
Gordon has assembled a team of well-known community leaders to serve on the planning committee and assist him with the logistics of the event. Being Alive San Diego is excited to serve as the beneficiary of the event, and 100% of the event's proceeds will go to the agency.
