San Diego Black LGBTQ Coalition to host Black Pride Block Party

San Diego Black LGBTQ Coalition
The San Diego Black LGBTQ Coalition is hosting an End of Summer Black Pride Neighborhood Block Party this Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10 am to 5:30 pm. The event will be held at Fair @ 44
Organizers say the event will include music, food, vendors, community awareness booths, HIV testing, and free COVID-19 vaccinations.
Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in mindfulness training, yoga, drum circles, and dance parties.
Everyone is welcome to attend and participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Pride outfit.
"Come embrace all the good vibes this community has to offer," wrote organizers in a social media post. "We want Black LGBTQ Community members to be able to give out information for their services to the rest of the community."
The Coalition is still seeking resource and service providers for Black LGBTQ community members. Resources sought are things like haircuts, counseling, reiki, art, health services and more. Those who wish to participate in the event by hosting a booth can fill out this form.
Fair @ 44 is located at 4350 El Cajon Blvd. More information about the event is here.
