The annual event provides support, resources, and fellowship for members of the LGBTQ recovery community.
Sobriety on the Sand (SOS) is an annual event held in San Diego that provides a space for members of the recovery community to come together for support, resources, and fun. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on group gatherings, this year's event will be held virtually on Oct. 10-11, with the theme "There is a Solution."
The online event will feature speakers from all over the United States, interactive workshops, and a drawing where participants can win prizes. The event will take place on the Zoom platform both days from 11 am to 8 pm. A complete schedule of sessions will be announced soon.
SOS continues to raise money for grants benefiting sober initiatives around Southern California, and those wishing to donate to their efforts can do so here.
More information about the 2020 virtual event, including Zoom log-in information, can be found here.
