BlacQ Gay Pride Week to be hosted by SDSU student group

The second annual BlacQ Gay Pride Week at San Diego State University (SDSU) will be held Monday, Oct. 5-Friday, Oct. 9. All events will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sponsored by the SDSU Pride Center and the BlacQ Space student organization, BlacQ Pride Week events are being created by and for the Black queer community. BlacQ Pride Week intends to celebrate Black excellence through art and healing. 

While most events are intended for Black queer community members only, the talent show scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9 is open to all.

Monday, Oct. 5: BlacQ With Crafts

Express your Black Queer Joy through art! Let your rainbow run through crafting, drawing, poety, whatever speaks to you!
