With many community members in search of new work opportunities, the workshop will help people update their resumes, a critical part of the search process.
During these unprecedented times, many have found themselves searching for new work and career opportunities. For most job seekers, a polished resume is a crucial part of the search process.
To help community members be more successful throughout this process, San Diego Pride is hosting a resume building workshop on Thursday, May 28 at 12 noon. The workshop will be presented by Taylor Meadows, a human resources professional with a decade of experience at major companies like Apple, LinkedIn, and now Indeed.
At the online workshop, Meadows will provide insight and strategic tips and tricks to help participants craft the best resume to highlight their skillset. Additionally, he will address the unique concerns and challenges of LGBTQ employees and jobseekers.
Workshop participants will also have the opportunity to have their resume reviewed by one of Pride's volunteers following the event.
The workship is free and open to all. To register, click here.
Those who would like to volunteer their expertise to be a volunteer resume reviewer can sign up here.
