A man posing as an Uber driver was arrested after harassing a woman and trying to follow her into her home last Saturday. 

A small home in Oklahoma City was the scene of a Grindr robbery scheme where victims thinking they were meeting up with other Grindr users were actually marks who were robbed at gunpoint. 

In an apparent drug deal that went wrong, a 28-year-old man was shot in the groin last weekend.

People may be enjoying Coke a little bit more if the corporation is serious about its recent claim they are considering contributing to the cannabis-infused soft drink industry

In a chilling case coming out of Texas, a border patrol agent has been arrested in connection with the slayings of four people and the kidnapping of a woman who managed to escape.

COMMENTARY

Reverend Irene Monroe talks about the Bert and Ernie controversy: "Sesame Street’s" most famous duo Bert and Ernie first appeared in 1969, the same year as the Stonewall Riots, which to the nation’s surprise catapulted the LGBTQ Liberation Movement. And at that time, the idea of partnering these two lovable striped-sweater-wearing puppets as gay was as inconceivable as the idea of legalized same-sex marriage.

The HRC responded to news that Vice President Mike Pence is speaking at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. on Saturday where he will join numerous anti-LGBTQ extremists, including Elizabeth Johnston, Dr. Paul McHugh, and Dr. Sebastian “Seb” Gorka, all known for their extremist advocacy against LGBTQ people.

California State Assemblymember Todd Gloria, San Diego City Councilmember Chris Ward, representatives from the dockless electric scooter sharing service Bird, and Circulate San Diego came together on Tuesday to unveil Bird’s “GovTech” platform – a comprehensive set of technologies to better enable the City of San Diego to manage the electric scooters and promote greater public safety.

CAUSES

Gay uncle and professional psychotherapist Matthew Dempsey isn't issuing an LGBT think piece on his YouTube channel this week, instead, he is turning his support to his family and their effort to make practical and tactical bracelets for the men and women in the military

ENTERTAINMENT

In an exclusive interview over at Queerty, they sat down with longtime Sesame Street script and songwriter Mark Saltzman. His work on the children's show won him seven Emmys throughout the years and he says Bert and Ernie are fashioned after him and his longtime companion Arnold Glassman.

Only two days after the now viral Queerty interview with former muppet scribe Mark Saltzman said he wrote Bert and Ernie based on his relationship with film editor Arnold Glassman, The Sesame Workshop has released their own statement and put the yellow and orange couple back in the figurative closet.
