San Diegans were slightly shaken in their sheets Monday morning as a 4.5 magnitude earthquake tousled a sleeping county.

The four men who attacked a gay couple during Miami Gay Pride in early April were dealt a heavy blow on Thursday; they face hate crime charges.

Writer/director Sam Wineman is one of the most positive, upbeat guys you’ll ever meet which is only slightly incongruous when you realize he may have created one of the most terrifying short films the queer community has seen in the last ten years.

San Diego Pride unveiled its revamped website on Thursday. The popular San Diego based web design firm Jacob Tyler redesigned the page which helps Pride’s mission of fostering pride, equality, and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities locally, nationally, and globally.


Riverside County health officials are warning of a syphilis outbreak in Palm Springs. In its first stage, the disease is characterized by sores on the genitals, rectum, and mouth followed by a rash. This can lead to fatigue, itching, swollen lymph nodes and finally brain damage, organ damage and even blindness.
