About Impulse San Diego:
Impulse San Diego is part of a large network known as Impulse Group, an international group dedicated to promoting healthy and informed sexual lifestyles among gay men in 20 cities around the world. With support of AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Impulse Group is comprised of volunteers working to create campaigns, events, and online content to reach a new generation of gay, bisexual, trans, queer and men who have sex with men who live in a modern and rapidly evolving world.
In San Diego, we strive for breaking stigmas, building a strong community and educating our community with a “sex positive” attitude, on key issues focusing on HIV and STIs. Currently we focus on Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (better known as PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), Drug and Alcohol use, Shaming/Discrimination and Treatment as Prevention (TasP).
