Miss Gay California USofA Newcomer 2018 was crowned this past Sunday at Rich’s Nightclub. 

The outgoing Miss Gay California USofA Newcomer, Tia Wanna, stepped down to allow another contestant to reign supreme for the coming year.

There were five competitors for the crown: Karina SaitoEssence MonroeDayamis StylesMia Amor Whitney, and Celeste W Starr

But it was Mia Amor Whitney who took it; Dayamis Styles and Celeste W Starr were first and second runner-up respectively. 

"I'm filled with emotion and love," said Mia Amor in a Facebook post. "Thank you, everyone, who understands my dreams and cheers me on to achieve them."

The pageant was emceed by Mia Pearl who entertained the audience with their comedic style.

Kalil ValentinoXavier ValentinoShaeShae LaReeseAshley Nell TiptonSolé ValentinoJustin Webb, Anton Mulvaney, Tally Master judged the pageant.

Special guests Kylie Sonique Love, and Domita DeBaun Sanchez rounded out the night with live performances. 

Local promoters and producers Robert Rodriguez and Scott Parman of "DIVAS" were sought out by Darryl Newman of Miss Gay USofA to become the new state promoters of this preliminary pageant.

All three winners of Sunday's event will get sponsored to compete In Dallas Texas For Miss Gay USofA Newcomer 2018 in August.
