You probably can't make the popular annual event "Tantrums and Tiara's; Battle of the Bar Queens" any better unless you could take past participants and showcase them again.

Well, get ready San Diego, that's exactly what is happening on Sunday, February 18, 2018: Past queens are returning to their drag roots, but with a whole new character to be crowned "All-Star."

"We expect Tantrums 2018 to be the biggest of them all, and an all out, over the top show for the gals that want to get the glory," say organizers of this year's event. "Our goal is to beat last year's record total of $80,000."

As with all proceeds for this charity pageant, they go back into the local community to be used by important LGBT programs.

Funds raised will help sustain the many programs and services of the LGBT Center, which in the past year provided more than 73,000 service visits.

To achieve its twin goals of promoting health and human rights, The Center provides direct services to the many different facets of the LGBT community, including men, women, youth, seniors, families, LGBT Latino community members and their families, as well as those struggling with HIV.

The Center works with civic leaders, community-based organizations and members of the community to advance fundamental freedoms such as the right to marry, safe and secure communities for all, equal treatment at the workplace and safe and affirming schools for LGBTQ-identified youth and children of LGBT-headed families.

The event is Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the Observatory Theater in North Park, San Diego.
