The 8th annual Lavender Graduation ceremony is the largest to date.
San Diego State University (SDSU) will celebrate their LGBT students in the 8th annual Lavender Graduation ceremony. This event is open to all graduating students who identify as lesbian, gay, transgender, queer or LGBT allies.
This special event is not only aimed at the graduating class, but the faculty, staff and administrators who have supported and enhanced these students with guidance and acceptance.
Participating students will be recognized with a certificate and rainbow cord to wear with their academic regalia during commencement.
They will also be invited to join SDSU’s LGBT Alumni Center.
The Lavender Graduation Ceremony is open to the public and is on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2 pm at the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center.
