Trans women of color continue to be murdered at rates far higher than other groups. Last weekend, a popular trans performer was gunned down on a street in Louisiana, and days later another trans woman was murdered in the same state. This marked the third trans woman to be murdered in the state this year. Last night, a group gathered in San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood for a vigil honoring trans lives.

Missing person Jake Roberson's body was found in a Los Angeles lake.
