This is the ninth annual LGBT event at the intense amusement park in Valencia, CA.
The extreme theme part Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA. (37 miles north of Los Angeles) is having their annual “Out on The Mountain” event on Friday, September 16.
Over 6,000 people are expected to attend. The park will close to the public from 6 pm to 1 am for this exclusive celebration.
Organizers wanted to create a safe place for the LGBT community in which to ride some of the world's most extreme rollercoasters and enjoy high-energy nightime entertainment.
Rides include Magic Mountain's latest New Revolution, along with Twisted Colossus, Full Throttle, Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom, Green Lantern: First Flight, Superman: Escape from Krypton, Batman: the Ride, Tatsu, Apocalypse, The Riddler's Revenge, and X2.
Special guests for the evening are Neon Trees’ front man Tyler Glenn, San Diego’s own Drag Race All Star winner Chad Michaels and DJ Ray Rhodes.
"This is an exciting event to put on each year, where LGBT of all ages can enjoy an evening together with music, rides, and great fun," says Rhodes. "While I've been a DJ all over North America, remixer of many hit songs, as well as a club promoter for many years, this event still holds a special place in my heart because of how it helps also so many worthwhile LGBT organizations and charities."
Your host for the night is Ingenue with musical offerings from DJ SRO and a performance by the electrifying Ricky Rebel.
The preferred hotel this year is Hilton Garden Inn Valencia; the closest hotel to the park.
They are also offering special rates to “Out on the Mountain” attendees.
"Out on the Mountain" will take place on Friday, September 16, from 6 pm to 1 am.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355
