SAN DIEGO -- The North Park Community Association (NPCA) will host its annual meeting and election tonight from 5:30-7:30 pm.
The organization invites all North Park residents to participate in the meeting.
The meeting will also include light food and beverages, time to mingle, the election of new NPCA board members, and interesting community presentations.
NPCA was formed in 1984 to provide a forum for issues and concerns in the community. An all-volunteer organization, the NPCA serves to bring together the diverse residents, property owners and business-people of North Park.
Issues important to the NPCA include public safety, education, land use, public facilities and services, commercial revitalization, community image and cultural activities. The mission of the NPCA is to create a voice to educate, inform and empower the North Park community with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for the residents in cooperation with commercial, civic and governmental organizations.
This evening's meeting will take place at Queen Bee's Art & Culture Center, 3925 Ohio St.
