Home Start's Blue Ribbon Gala to honor partners dedicated to preventing child abuse

SAN DIEGO -- Tickets are now on sale for the Home Start’s Blue Ribbon Gala on Saturday, April 27 from 6 to 11 pm at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa.

Now in its 41st year, the Blue Ribbon Gala was designed to bring attention to April’s National Child Abuse Prevention Month and to increase awareness about Home Start and its mission toward child abuse prevention and family strengthening.

This year’s event theme is “Tangled in Blue” and guests are encouraged to wear something blue to show their support to end child abuse. More than 300 guests will have the opportunity to bid on exceptional silent and live auction items, as they dine and dance the night away to the sounds of the band “Slower.” Home Start will honor its outstanding community and corporate partners at the event and thanking them for their continued support. This year’s honorary chairs are Sally Thornton and Sonya Berg.
