Alma is a brindle and tan Pit Bull Terrier mix, weighing 76 pounds. She is 2 years and 10 months old and has been spayed.
Why I'd make a great companion
I have a very mellow and loving personality that will do well in a variety of homes. I am also quite social and love to meet new people. I enjoy learning new things and would be happy to accompany my new pet parents on activities like hiking or walking around the neighborhood. I am a great balance between active and laid-back, so I would be perfectly content to chill out with you and watch a good movie all afternoon. I can sometimes be a little shy at first, but I warm up very quickly. Once you get to know the real me, you won't be able to resist my charm.
Type of home I'm looking for
I will do best in a home with no young children. Although I enjoy spending time with other dogs, I would prefer to be the only dog in your home.
Other things you should know about me
My adoption fee includes my spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, and a license if residing in Oceanside or Vista!
During the adoption process a San Diego Humane Society Trainer will be present to answer any questions and share how to best care for me and tips for continued training in the future.
