SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Foundation has made its Common Scholarship Application available for local students seeking funds to pay for higher education costs. The one-stop application will provide access to more than 100 scholarships.
Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students and adult re-entry students who are attending 2-year colleges, 4-year universities, trade/vocational schools, graduate, medical and professional schools and teaching credential programs. Scholarships range from $500 to more than $5,000 and - depending on the scholarship - can pay for tuition, room and board, books, fees and other related expenses.
The application is available now, and must be submitted by Feb. 6. Applications must be started by Feb. 4.
Those who submit a Common Scholarship Application will entered to win a $100 gift card to Barnes and Noble, with winners drawn every Monday through Jan. 28.
