SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego LGBT Community Center will host its annual "Come Home for the Holidays" celebration on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 5-8 pm. The event is organized to bring together the diverse cultures and traditions that make up San Diego's LGBT community.
The free event is family-friendly and open to all. It will include music, food, dancing, a secular candle lighting ceremony, a Native American blessing, and a chance to meet others in the community.
Dozens of LGBT and LGBT-friendly community organizations will participate by providing a "potluck style" item to share, and The Center will provide the "traditional" Turkey and stuffing. Participating organizations include:
