SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Democrats for Equality will hold its next general meeting on Thursday, June 28, and discuss a number of topics related to the primary election held June 5.
Craig Roberts, the club's vice president for political action, will lead a discussion about possible endorsements in races that were not settled in the primary election, including the 79th Assembly district; 51st congressional district; and Superior Court Judge Office 25.
A presentation will also be made by representatives of The San Diego LGBT Community Center about its Equality Voter Project, which is geared toward amassing hundreds of volunteers to conduct voter registration during San Diego Pride weekend.
The San Diego Democratic Party will also be on hand to explain the importance of its GO Team for winning elections.
Finally, all candidates who were endorsed by the club in the most recent election cycle, regardless of the results of the race, will be invited to the meeting to thank the membership for their support.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm at the Joyce Beers Community Center, located at 3900 Vermont St. in Hillcrest.
