SAN DIEGO -- AT&T is supporting several LGBT initiatives across the Golden State in celebration of national LGBT Pride Month throughout the month of June and beyond.

The telephone company is a major sponsor of LGBT events in California including the San Diego Pride Festival on July 21-22; Frameline 36, San Francisco’s International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival; the 2012 San Francisco Pridefest and its official kick-off party; and the Los Angeles Pride Festival.

AT&T is also sponsoring the “Summer of Pride,” with CBS Radio DJ’s Fernando & Greg, who will be ambassadors for AT&T at several San Francisco community events including the 2012 AIDS walk.

Beyond California, AT&T is producing or sponsoring LGBT campaigns, programs and events across the country. Among them is AT&T’s sponsorship of the OUT “Pride Guide” mobile iPhone app that will feature insider details on the biggest Pride celebrations in five of the country’s largest markets: New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago.
