Rio is a black and tan Rat Terrier mix, weighing 10.6 pounds. She is 6 years and 3 months old, and has been spayed.
Why I'd make a great companion:
I am a sweet, small gal who is looking for a loving and patient home to call my own. I can be a bit shy with new things, but give me a little time -- and a lot of love -- and you'll soon see that I'm a snugly, silly love-bug! I would love nothing more than to curl up with you on the couch as we watch our favorite TV shows.
Type of home I'm looking for:
I am looking for a home with older, respectful children.
Other things you should know about me:
My adoption fee includes my spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, and a license if residing in Oceanside or Vista!
During the adoption process a San Diego Humane Society Trainer will be present to answer any questions and share how to best care for me and tips for continued training in the future.
You will also need to meet with a Humane Society Veterinarian to understand my medical history, answer any questions, and share how to best care for me in the future.
