SAN DIEGO -- The next meeting of the Hillcrest Town Council (HTC), to be held at 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 8, will include presentations on a number of community issues and projects that the group has been working on.
All residents of Hillcrest -- owners and renters -- are encouraged to attend the meeting.
Several topics will be addressed, with the first being a presentation by Fausta Palafox, owner of Mission Hills Nursery, about 500 free trees that are available for home owners in the City of San Diego.
The meeting will also include updates from the offices of local elected officials, and a time for community members to share their thoughts on issues important to them during public comment.
Residents will be also asked for their thoughts on creating a westbound exit onto Washington Street from Highway 163 north, which will include a proposal prepared by HTC's Development Committee.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The HTC meets at the Joyce Beers Community Center, located at 3900 Vermont St. in the Uptown Shopping District.
