Emily is a short-haired torbie-colored mix cat. She weighs 10.9 pounds and is 13 years and 4 months old. This pet has been spayed.
Why I'd make a great companion:
I have been at the San Diego Humane Society since January 3. This means the staff here has had plenty of time to get to know me. Everyone tells me I am purr-fect because I am affectionate and love almost everyone I meet. The 3 words that best describe me are intelligent, warm and tranquil. If I could do just one thing all day, I would love to curl up with you while you read your favorite novel. I might even sneak a peek, since I love a good story! Other favorite activities include simply watching the things around me, like the birds through the window and what you do around the house. According to my closest allies, I am a very observant, caring kitty. Do not let my age fool you, my golden years are the prime of my life! I've got plenty of energy and love to go around and I have a young soul that I can't wait to share with you.
Type of home I'm looking for:
I would love to go to a quiet home where I could just lay around the house with you, and maybe help with a chore or two.
Other things you should know about me:
My adoption fee includes my spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam!
I may be a perfect match for the San Diego Humane Society's Seniors for Seniors Program, click HERE for more information.
