Hortence is a black and white long hair cat, weighing 7.8 pounds. She is 4 years and 6 months old and has been spayed.
Why I'd make a great companion:
While I enjoy spending quality time with my people friends, I am also content to spend time on my own. I have an independent spirit. While I don't always like to be petted and held, I have a big heart and can't wait to share all of my love with a special family of my own. I like to take my time approaching new situations. While I am a bit shy with new faces and places, I warm up as I become more familiar with my environment. I'm a mellow and easy-going companion, content just to feel loved.
Type of home I'm looking for:
I would prefer a home with older children.
Other things you should know about me:
Before my adoption process can be completed, you will need to meet with a Humane Society veterinarian to understand my medical history, answer any questions, and share how to best care for me in the future.
