I’m honored to say that on Saturday, Nov. 13, I will be the host of the 39th Anniversary Gala & Auction for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, an organization I strongly believe in and have supported for years. The gala is a going to be a wonderful evening with a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and entertainment; it is the event for the LGBT community in L.A. and you should be there.
I am so looking forward to sharing the stage at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel with the riotously funny Jane Lynch, whose dedication to LGBT activism will be recognized with the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award. Not to mention Matthew Morrison and the incomparable Carol Burnett, one of the only women alive who could pull off a dress made from re-purposed curtains (which I’m still trying to convince her to wear to the event).
The gala is a special night because it is a wonderful celebration, full of laughter, and also because it’s so important in making all the amazing work the Center does possible. I hope I’ll see you there.
