The mayor is expected to update San Diegans on progress he has made in his first year, and lay out solutions for continuing challenges.
San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria this evening will deliver his second State of the City address as the 37th Mayor of the City of San Diego.
During the speech, Mayor Gloria will "focus on the issues that are front-of-mind for San Diegans during this time and chart a clear path forward," said a statement issued by his office. He will also provide an update on the progress made during his first year in office.
In light of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, the address will take place virtually. It will be livestreamed via City TV and broadcast live by CW 6 San Diego.
The speech begins at 6 p.m.
