The "Back Together San Diego County" event will coincide with the State of CA eliminating the COVID-19 tier system.
A “Back Together San Diego County” celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 15 starting at 6:30 am at the County Administration Center.
On Tuesday, San Diego County’s economy will fully reopen, along with the rest of California. Board of Supervisors Chair Nathan Fletcher is hosting this morning celebration for the community.
"It’s time for San Diego County to come Back Together so we can move forward with our recovery from COVID-19 and recapture the true spirit of our region," said Fletcher in a statement.
The community is invited to attend this free outdoor celebration. The festivities will include:
- 6:30 am: Breakfast Snacks, Refreshments from Local Businesses (No cost. While supplies last.)
- 7:00 am: Live Music provided by Wonderbus Entertainment
- 7:30 am: Back Together Kick-off Press Conference
- 8:00 am: Ribbon Cutting & Opening of the County Administration Center
Cox Communications is sponsoring the “Back Together San Diego County” celebration.
Chair Fletcher will join with Vice Chair Nora Vargas and partners from the San Diego Downtown Partnership, Asian Business Association of San Diego, San Diego Tourism Authority, Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego Regional Chamber, San Diego Event Coalition and Dream Hahn to welcome the community to the “Back Together San Diego County” celebration.
The local vendors scheduled to provide goods and services to this event include: Nostalgia Coffee Roasters, Super Cocina, San Diego Balloons & More, Coffee ‘N’ Talk, and Wonderbus Entertainment.
The County Administraton Center is located at 1600 Pacific Hwy., San Diego, CA 92101 and the event will be held near the east entrance.
