At a recent planning meeting, city staff revived the idea of a Streetcar that would connect the Gaslamp Quarter to Hillcrest via Balboa Park and Bankers Hill and the hospitals. This idea is something that folks at the HBA have been advocating for a long time.
West coast cities like Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco have street cars as transportation options and economic development tools. Why not San Diego?
