The organization plans to share information about the challenges they faced throughout 2020 and their plans for the future.
The North County LGBTQ Resource Center will host their Annual Town Hall on Friday, Jan. 29 at 5:30 pm via live stream on Facebook.
The organization invites everyone to join in to hear updates on The Center's activities and the people they served throughout 2020. There will also be discussion on the challenges the organization has faced throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and its future in the social justice movement.
The North County LGBTQ Resource Center opened in November 2011 and serves as a visible symbol of the LGBTQ community in North County San Diego. The Resource Center works to support, build, educate, and improve the relationships of the LGBT community along with friends and allies. Services include support groups for youth, seniors, military service members, HIV/AIDS testing and prevention, counseling, civil rights advocacy, classes, and workgroups.
