Board of Supervisors Chair Nathan Fletcher, City Council President Pro Tem Stephen Whitburn, and Mayor Todd Gloria's Advisor for COVID-19 response to participate.
Small business owners and representatives from around San Diego are invited to participate in a virtual forum this Friday, Jan. 15 from 12 noon to 1 pm to discuss the government's response to COVID-19. The event is being hosted by the Hillcrest Business Association, with support from other business associations in the area.
According to organizers, the event came about after many local business owners expressed confusion about what seem to be continuously changing public health regulations, enforcement actions, and availability of relief packages. The panel of government officials scheduled to participate will speak to the issues of concern, answer questions, and share resources with participants.
Scheduled to participate is Supervisor Nathan Fletcher, who was recently selected by his colleagues to be the Chair of the County Board of Supervisors; San Diego City Council President Pro Tem Stephen Whitburn; and Mayor Todd Gloria's top advisor for COVID-19 response, Stephen Hill.
