Friends seeking assistance in locating Bradley Runyans

Update, 10/13/20, 9 pm: We have learned from friends of Runyans that he has passed away. The cause and date of death are unknown. Family and friends have requested privacy at this time.

Update, 10/16/20: A GoFundMe fundraiser has been created to assist Runyans' best friend and roommate Britton Purvis with the second portion of rent, utilities, and other expenses resulting in time off of work to assist the family and to come to terms him passing. The fundraiser page is here.

Bradley Runyans, a Hillcrest resident, went missing late last week and friends are hoping the community can be of assistance in locating him. According to Britton Purvis, Runyans' roommate and best friend, he was last seen in the Hillcrest area and could have disappeared sometime on Friday, Oct. 9 or Saturday, Oct. 10.

Purvis says that a coworker of Runyans said that he mentioned possibly heading to Palm Springs for the weekend, but was undecided about the trip. His car and wallet are missing with all other personal belongings seemingly in tact in his bedroom.

Runyans drives a dark gray/charcoal-colored 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Florida license plates. He is in his early 30s, weighs approximately 185 pounds, is 6 feet 1 inch tall, and has blonde hair.

Friends are asking that if anyone sees Runyans (or a vehicle that matches the description) or knows of his whereabouts to contact Zachary Renfro at 619-643-7633 or contact the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000. Renfro and Purvis are in close contact with Runyans' family and will keep them apprised of any tips received.

Purvis says that a missing persons report has been filed and all possible locations they believe he could have been have been contacted.
