The first reported LGBT fatality has been reported as a result of the Las Vegas shootings.

According to KUTV, Cameron Robinson (above, center) lived in Cedar City, Utah but commuted to work in Las Vegas. He and his boyfriend Bobby Eardley were at the Route 91 Harvest Festival listening to Jason Aldean at the time of the shootings.

The couple met on OKCupid four years ago and only last year moved in with each other and Bobby's three children.

Cameron was killed by gunfire on Sunday night, while Bobby sustained shrapnel to the back. He recalls first becoming aware of what was happening around them.

“And I just remember being really upset – why would somebody set off firecrackers at a venue like this when shootings have happened?” He told The Guardian.

Taking cover after the first shots rang out, Bobby realized they should move, “I remember seeing people sitting on the ground and wondering why they were sitting because they were going to get trampled. And I realized they were bleeding.”

Bobby says one of the things he loved about Cameron was that he kept him balanced.

“He’s my other half. I’m the crazy, fly by the seat of your pants – he’s the straight laced and level headed one ... And so many other things. His quirky little smile, his big teeth, his crooked sunglasses … so many things.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral and memorial costs.

"He accomplished so much in such a short time and touched the lives of so many," writes Valerie Alvey on the page. "Between his love to cook and amazing dance moves there was always good times. He was such a caring, giving and loving man. Cameron, you will be greatly missed. We love you so much!

Cameron was killed by gunman Stephen Paddock who stood perched on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas and shot into the music festival killing 59 people and injuring more than 500.
