This is the latest in a barrage of White House turnovers.
Several news outlets are reporting that Steve Bannon is no longer the White House chief strategist.
The decision comes on the heels of Trump’s statements which did not denounce neo-Nazi’s involvement in the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally, rather the president chose to put blame “on both sides.”
Bannon has made a whole career in controversy, he is the former publisher of ultra-conservative Breitbart News which often focused on inciting the public with incendiary news items and opinions.
The staff at the White House seems to be in constant flux recently. Reince Priebus, Anthony Scaramucci, and Sean Spicer have all left their respective positions.
Scaramucci only lasted 10 days as the White House communications director and claimed that 60-percent of the leaks coming from the White House were from Bannon and Priebus.
The White House released a statement to reporters.
"White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and Steve Bannon have mutually agreed today would be Steve's last day. We are grateful for his service and wish him the best."
