Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke met with Trump on Monday as a possible cabinet member.
President-elect has been taking meetings with potential members of his cabinet before he officially takes over as president in January.
His list of possible appointees is filled with anti-LGBT members across the board.
That list continues to grow as he took a meeting with Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke on Monday in Trump Tower.
Clarke is being considered to head the Department of Homeland Security.
Clarke is a Democrat with reactionary views, especially when it comes to The Second Amendment.
He called discussions on gun control after the Orlando massacre a "distraction."
As far as LGBT rights, Clarke has said transgender men and women are mentally ill.
"Folks, more evidence that transgender persons suffer from mental disorders more than physiological disorders," Clarke said referring to de-transitioned author Walt Heyer in his June 25 podcast.
He also said trans men and women lead a "freakish Lifestyle."
Sheriff Clarke also has controversial views on the Black Lives Matter movement, calling advocates "black slime."
Said Clarke on Fox News: “I’m tired of hearing people call these people black activists, they’re not activists, this is black slime and it needs to be eradicated from the American society and the American culture.”
President-elect Trump has so far filled his potential cabinet choices with some of the most anti-LGBT politicians in the United States, including Betsy DeVos, Tom Price, Reince Priebus, Nikki Haley, and Vice President Mike Pence.
