WEST HOLLYWOOD, California -- The country’s first ever privately owned LGBT center opens this week, offering legal, mental health and vocational services to members of the LGBT community in West Hollywood.
The new center, Home, is being fully funded by Nir Zilberman, who is closing his LA Jock Sport shop on Santa Monica Boulevard in order to open the new center. He explained the vision of the center:
“I created ‘Home’ as a space where strong minded individuals can meet and work with other strong minded individuals to make the world a better place for all, gay and straight. It’s time we wake up to the many issues plaguing our society and take action here and now.”
